Ms Nidhi Yadav
Ms. Nidhi Yadav has completed M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology at the National Forensic Science University, Gandhinagar, Gujarat, in 2024, with the First Division standing in her program. Ms. Nidhi completed her Master’s (Honors) in Clinical Psychology from Lovely Professional University, Phagwara, Punjab, graduating in June 2022 with an impressive CGPA of 9.0, earning her a Gold Medal for outstanding academic achievement. She earned her Bachelor of Science from the University of Allahabad, Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, in March 2019, with first division. Ms. Nidhi completed her higher secondary education at St. Anthony Convent Girls Inter School in Prayagraj, achieving a percentage of 90, and her high school education at the same institution with a percentage of 79.80.
EXPERIENCE
Ms. Nidhi is currently working as a RCI Licensed Clinical Psychologist, in Hyderabad, Telangana. She has accumulated two years of experience as an M.Phil. Clinical Psychologist trainee (RCI Licensed). She completed extensive training in the Government Hospital for Mental Health in Ahmedabad, where she worked with diverse psychopathological populations. Additionally, she has experience at Apollo Hospital, Ahmedabad, in the Oncology and ICU departments, focusing on pre- and post-operative care. At the Centre for Happiness and Wellbeing at the National Forensic Science University, Ms. Nidhi managed District Child Protection Unit (DCPU) cases and other legal cases requiring psychotherapeutic management.
Her clinical psychology internship under Dr. Sanjay Ghosh, a recognized clinical psychologist and Assistant Professor at Lovely Professional University, further enhanced her skills. Furthermore, she completed an internship in Industrial and Organizational Psychology at Psychoshiksha in Gurgaon. Ms. Nidhi is also a licensed Yoga Instructor, providing both group and personalized yoga training sessions. She gained experience as a database manager, content writer, and editor for Hindustan Times in New Delhi and worked with various organizations, including Macguffin Frames in Hyderabad.
ACHIEVEMENTS
Ms. Nidhi has been recognized for her academic excellence, having been awarded the prestigious Gold Medal for her exceptional performance during her Master’s degree, demonstrating her academic merit and dedication to the field. In 2024, she attended an International Seminar on Recent Advancements in Forensic Psychology at her current university. Additionally, she is a state-level athlete from Uttar Pradesh.
CONTRIBUTIONS
Ms. Nidhi's M.Phil. thesis, titled “Effectiveness of Brief Mindfulness Intervention on Behavioral Addiction and Psychological Distress among School-going Adolescents,” reflects her commitment to advancing knowledge in clinical psychology. Her Master’s thesis focused on the “Effect of COVID-19 on Working People’s Personality,” further showcasing her research interests and dedication to addressing contemporary psychological challenges.
SKILLS
Ms. Nidhi possesses a diverse skill set in clinical psychology, including individual and group therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based therapies, dialectical behavior therapy, parent management training, play therapy, psychodiagnostic assessments, and psychoeducation. Her expertise in assessments and evaluations encompasses psychological testing, diagnosis and treatment planning, behavioral and personality assessments, as well as neuropsychological assessments.

Ms. Nidhi is a published author, having released the book "Conversation (Samvaad)" in 2021. She has also showcased her talents as a drama artist in plays organized under the Ministry of Culture Government Project in India, serving as a play production manager for "Butterfly." Additionally, she has excelled in various competitions, winning debate competitions at interstate levels and a poetry competition on Mental Health Day in 2021 at the National Forensic Science University. Her passion for the arts is further reflected in her performances reciting poems and stories on various stages.
